Digital banking

Evolve digital banking platforms while live operations continue.

We develop customer-facing web and mobile channels and modernise the platforms behind them in controlled stages. Shared components and clear integration boundaries create room for new functionality; prototypes show which transition paths work and which capabilities must be preserved.

At the customer-facing layer, we develop web and mobile applications whose capabilities can evolve consistently across web, iOS and Android. Identification, authorisation, communication and analytics are implemented as reusable components. APIs and integration hubs connect the applications to the platforms and third-party systems behind them.

When modernising a banking platform, its core business rules, data models, processes and distinctive capabilities must be preserved. We map how these elements relate, identify suitable seams and test uncertain integration or migration paths with prototypes. On that basis, the interface, data model, processes or platform capabilities can be migrated, modularised or extended in stages.

Depending on the starting point, the result may be an operational web or mobile application, a central integration layer, a migrated application or a sound basis for a platform-change decision. Live operation, required transition periods and the capabilities that must be preserved determine how the change is divided into stages. Nuitio can develop individual components, implement a migration stage or shape the transition jointly with the client team.

Hybrid banking application for web, iOS and Android

Reusable components provided identification, authorisation, customer communications and analytics across all three channels.

An existing portal became an operational application across three channels.

Migration study for integrating a digital bank

The study compared migration paths to the Avaloq Front Platform, considering effort, risks, synergies and the differentiating capabilities to preserve.

The study gave senior management technical evidence for the migration decision.
Software Engineering · Digital banking

Integration hub for modularising online banking

A central hub provided reusable front-end functions and a common integration point for new microapplications.

The hub enabled gradual modularisation while the existing platform remained operational.
Software Engineering · Digital banking

Single-page online-banking portal

The portal integrated the microapplications with the Avaloq Front Platform and connected microservices from several third-party systems.

The portal and the bank’s development and delivery foundations went into operation together.

CRM modernisation from Java/Swing to HTML5/CSS3

The modernisation also covered the migration of the existing data model and implementation of the CRM processes.

The new interface went into operation together with the migrated data model and CRM functionality.
